The Christmas season officially begins Wednesday with the traditional simbang gabi. To put you more in a Christmas mood, I asked some celebs about their favorite Christmas gift as a kid and as an adult.

TITO SOTTO: ?As a kid, it was a toy carbine, complete military outfit and helmet from my Mom. As an adult, a solid white gold Rolex Yacht Master 11 from my wife Helen.?

EUGENE DOMINGO: ?As a kid and as an adult, I love anything fragrant like perfumes, lotion, body scrubs, soap, cologne and scented candles as gifts.?

OGIE ALCASID: ?A Voltes V robot from my dad when I was a kid and my kids? Christmas cards every year.?

CRISTINE BERSOLA-BABAO: ?As a kid, anything that Santa would leave under the tree and inside the Christmas stockings. Now, I love receiving books, bags and eco-friendly stuff for Christmas.?

DIETHER OCAMPO: ?As a kid, it was hand-me-down kung fu shoes. As an adult, it?s the PCNC (Philippine Council for NGO Accreditation) accreditation of my Kids Foundation.?

ARA MINA: ?Toys and chocolates as a kid and cell phones, bags and perfume as an adult.?

GABBY CONCEPCION: ?I treasure our family tradition of having a Santa Rice Bag (one sack of rice with a Santa hat with a smiley face) from the entire Yuletide season till New Year to remind us to be thankful for all the blessings.?

ISABEL OLI: ?Barbie dolls from my parents as a kid. Just being able to spend the holidays with my family is the best gift every year because I don?t get to see them often since they are based in Singapore.?

PHOEMELA BARANDA: ?When I was 7, I?ll never forget when I got a huge gift which was a walking doll taller than me. To this day, big gift boxes excite me still.?

RODERICK PAULATE: ?As a kid, food especially M&M chocolate and toys from the palengke from my Mamang and Papang. As an adult, white shirt and my fave cologne.?

AMY PEREZ: ?Walking doll when I was a kid. Nightgowns, pajamas and house wear as an adult.?

LUKE MEJARES: ?Matchbox cars when I was a kid and perfume as an adult.?

ANDREW E: ?My first Grosby shoes as a kid. My first Mercedes Benz which was my gift to myself after working so hard. But no Christmas gift could compare to the joy of having my first baby.?

MR. FU: ?I wasn?t into toys as a kid. I prefer cash gifts so I could buy what I want. As an adult, cash pa rin with matching pangkabuhayan showcase.?

JOROSS GAMBOA: ?As a kid, a toy sword and knight?s helmet which my parents made me believe came from Santa. As an adult, an Armani watch from my GF. Di kasi ako mahilig sa watch pero ngayon I always check the time kasi ganda ng relo ko.?

Multi-platinum artist Piolo Pascual is proud of his 6th album under Star records??Decades: The Greatest Songs of the ?50s, ?60s and ?70s.?

?This time, standards naman,? says PJ. ?I thought I wouldn?t be able to pull it off but I surprised myself.?
