A Filipino-Chinese mother (Cuneta) is treated harshly by her in-laws, who eventually turn her children against her. After becoming rich, she attempts a reconciliation with her now grown-up and embittered children. This is Cuneta?s first time to work with Regal Films. ?There?s been a long-standing offer from Regal since the 1990s. But finally, the timing was right and Regal came up with a beautiful script,? she recalled. Cuneta counts this drama as among her Top 10 favorite films. It?s also her first time to work with Evangelista: ?Heart not only fits the part physically, but in her past movies she has proven that she knows how to act. I hope the role brings out her acting chops ? that it blesses her,? Cuneta said.
