Marriage tips for Ciara

TITO SOTTO HAS NO APPREHENSIONS about his daughter Ciara wedding long-time beau Jo Oconer next year.

?Jo is very good for Ciara,? says Tito Sen. ?He is very mature and understanding. She?s in good hands. Ciara is the last one to get hitched among my four kids. But of course, I know I will still get emotional during the wedding, just like any dad.?

The dashing father of the bride gave her some tips. ?I told her that for marriage to be successful and blissful, both of them should constantly work on it. It?s not just the wedding ring. It is also caring and sharing so they can avoid the third ring which is suffering.?

With a supportive dad like Tito, how can Ciara?s marriage fail? Even if she will soon have a husband, Ciara will never really leave behind... her dad.

It was such a delight to meet Sam Oh and Chef Nino Logarta. They spread around their joie de vivre so well, it?s very much felt in their cooking show, ?Sarap at Home? on Q11 (weekdays, 10:50 a.m., 6:20 p.m., 9:20 p.m.; Saturdays, 2:10 p.m., 5:50 p.m., 7:50 p.m.; Sundays, 2:10 p.m., 5:50 p.m., 9:20 p.m.).

The show delivers a fresh take on cooking programs, presenting wacky situations, sitcom-style. In every episode, neighbors Sam and Nino encounter a dilemma and end up cooking a flavorful, easy-to-prepare dish that complements the situation. They have the hottest Kapuso celebs as guests sampling their concoctions. The kooky tandem doesn?t just cook yummy dishes, they cook up a riot of a show!

Since Sam Oh is Korean, I enjoyed practicing with her basic Korean expressions I picked up when I used to frequent Seoul during my grandfather?s term as ambassador there. I asked Sam to do her own English translation of the original Korean lyrics of the Wonder Girls? monster hit ?Nobody.? Here goes (Kamsahamneda, Ms. Ipuda Sam!):

You know I still love you baby.
And it will never change.

I want nobody nobody but you ...

Why do you push me away? You don?t listen to me
Why are you pushing me to another guy?
How could you do this?

You say you?re doing it for me
That you?re not good enough for me
It?s time to stop now, you know me
Why do you insist on something I don?t want?

I like you, I?m happy
All I need is you, I can?t ask for more
Who do you expect me to be happy with? I can?t be happy away from you.

You say you?re doing it for me
That you?re not good enough for me
It doesn?t make sense, how can I be happy without you?

(Rap)
Back to the days when we were so young and wild and free
I want to go back to the days when everything felt like a dream
Why do you keep pushing me away?
