Illac Diaz?s Facebook status after Christmas piqued my curiosity. He was asking if anybody knows Jon Avila because someone who claims to be Jon has been sending him lewd text messages.

He posted the cell phone number of the sender which is different from Jon?s. So it?s obviously a weirdo who?s using Jon?s name in vain.

The drama queen in me was in full ?emote mode? while watching ?I Love You, Goodbye.? My kids kept teasing me ?Uyy! Si Mommy! Nakaka-relate!?

Kudos to the cast and crew for a superb film, though it would have been even better if Angelica Panganiban?s character evolved more and the sudden twist of events towards the latter part of the film wasn?t too drastic. Gabby Concepcion hasn?t lost his charm and touch. Kim Chui proved that she can also give justice to a kontrabida (antagonist) role. Derek Ramsey is a revelation in the film and Angelica gave her best performance to date. The movie made me ponder: What?s more painful? Leaving without saying goodbye or saying goodbye without leaving?
