WITHIN THE WHORL OF A LOTUS FLOWER is a wonderful sight to behold. The spiritual realm has been likened by great sages to this whorl. It is hidden from others, but revealed to sincere seekers of the truth.

The beauty or splendor of the lotus lies within. Likewise, there?s a world within us that needs to unfold?a special place devoid of anxiety, anger and envy. It?s at the core of our hearts where we can find unity with our Supreme Friend?a union achieved through love and free will that brings peace and happiness.

Yoga lets us witness the blossoming and unfolding of the lotus flower. Our spirituality allows us to enter the wonderful whorl within and relish its sweetest nectar. These lovely flowers remind us about another world characterized by freedom and true beauty.

Art exhibit

In this light, four artists who practice yoga?Kris Tibon, Chai Araneta, Prema Dizon and Robert Balbacoco?have come up with ?The World of Lotuses,? an art exhibit that focuses on those wondrous flowers and the tranquility they evoke. Their works are on view at the Sundara Art Gallery, Alphaland, Southgate Mall, Edsa cor. Chino Roces ave., until Jan. 24.
