USC to host engineering research conference

AFTER three successful editions, the International Engineering Research Conference continues the tradition of offering excellent venue for both academic and industrial communities in addressing current developments and future challenges on development, application, and innovation of technologies in the context of Philippine development and globalization.

The international conference will be participated in by researchers and professors from different higher education and research institutes in Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Korea, Canada, USA, Japan and the Philippines.

The 4th International Engineering Research Conference will kick off on Thursday, Jan. 14 at the University of San Carlos ? Talamban Campus to address ?Developing Technological Solutions for Energy, Environment and Engineering Education.?

The activity will give the participants a chance to witness the Sinulog festival.

The registration fee of the two day conference for professionals is P4,000. The fee includes conference kit and meals. Students are also invited to join for a minimal registration fee of P500 inclusive of student kit and snacks.
