MANILA, Philippines?Every year, Inquirer Entertainment helps readers pick a show for that special day, by asking the concert artists to talk about their gigs ? and romance.

Martin Nievera and Pops Fernandez, ?One A-More Time,? Feb. 14, SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City
Call 425-7598 or 401-8002

Was there a time when you were not doing a Valentine show?
Martin: Yes, when we were still married. The whole night we would just look at each other.

Your most romantic Valentine?s Day ever?

Pops: I can?t remember, hahaha!
M: You?re not gonna like mine ? It was after a show and ? we had a ?moment? in the dressing room ?
P: We did?
M: She used to like it seeing sweat on me. She found it very sexy ? Still in our concert clothes ? close the door ? banat!
P: Oh my God, can you censor that part?

Is there an ideal Valentine?s date?
M: For me, it?s always with Pops.
P: Okay, write that in bold letters.

Who?s your fantasy date?
P: It has to be Brad Pitt. He?s so unattainable for me! But after reading ?Twilight,? it can also be Edward Cullen.

M: Mine would be Ellen DeGeneres. I think that would be the most fun. We both love girls. And she?s funny. There would be no eating, no drinking or romancing. We?d just make fun of people.

From among millions of romantic songs, do you have a favorite?

P: For me, it will always be ?It Might Be You.? I guess because I?m still figuring out who it might be in my life.

M: I like ?Unchained Melody.? At the highest point of being in love, my heart sings that one.

Why should we watch your concert?

M: Our kids are in college.

P: They need cars.

P: This is the first time we have a concept for our show. We want to join the teleserye fad.
