MANILA, Philippines?Last Tuesday, I wrote that Roxanne Guinoo might be infanticipating. It was only later that I got confirmation that ... she was. On Sunday, I announced it on ?Chismax,? on dzMM Teleradyo.

Roxanne?s beau, Elton Yap, who?s younger than she is, belongs to a prominent Chinese clan. My source said Elton?s father was not keen about Roxanne, but his mother likes her.

Meanwhile, Roxanne?s mom demanded that Elton marry her daughter, pronto. But they have to wait until January next year because his cousin just got hitched. ?Bawal na bawal sa Chinese ang sukob,? added my source. ?Sabi ng mom ni Roxanne dapat bumukod sila ng tirahan. Ngayon pa siya magre-request e halos ?dun na nakatira si Roxanne sa bahay ng mga Yap kasi sobrang seloso si Elton.?

Many things can happen between now and 2011. Will the wedding push through? Will Elton ask Roxanne to quit show biz? Will the pressures of being first-time parents and the challenges that come with the Tsinoy setup strengthen their bond or make their relationship seem like bondage?

It was such a delight to interview ?PBB? Big winners Melai and Jason on ?Chismax? (11 a.m. Sunday on Skycable Ch. 26). Jason had an ?SJ (selos jealous)? attack because Melai met up with her ex-BF Roy when she went home to GenSan. She reassured him that she no longer loved Roy even if Roy still has feelings for her.

Jason?s message to Roy was loud and clear: ?Stay away from my Isay!? Melai regrets not being able to spend more time with her family in GenSan. ?Thirty minutes lang kami nagkausap,? she said. ?But I told them ?wag mag-alala, kasi marami na kaming time makapag-bonding pag laos na ako (laughs).?

Would she consider cosmetic surgery or breast enhancement as most celebs do, to up their market value? ?Takot ako sa injections!? she exclaimed.

What do Melason want to change in each other? ?Si Isay dapat wag nya sabihin ang mga ?di dapat sabihin sa publiko,? said Jason.

Melai shot back, ?Si Sweety Pie naman, dapat ?pag nagpa-kiss siya sa mga girls, cheeks lang. Yung everything niya akin lang ?yon.?

It seems their new life after ?PBB? hasn?t completely sunk in. Melason should tread carefully, lest they stumble. The trappings of fame and fortune can turn into a trap.

A public service show and a sitcom will replace GMA 7?s ?Bandaoke? and Bitoy?s ?Showwwtime? soon. Looks like the Kapuso network is putting its heart and soul to reprogramming.

I am speechless with gratitude to the esteemed group of professors and academicians of Gawad Tanglaw para sa Sining at Kultura (Gawad Tagapuring Mga Akademisyan ng Aninong Gumagalaw) for naming me Best Entertainment Columnist for the third year in a row. My ?Stop, Talk & Listen? co-host, Mr. Fu, was chosen Best Radio DJ.

I am touched beyond words that the highest award of Gawad Tanglaw, Lifetime Achievement Award (Posthumous), went to my mom, Inday Badiday. Awarding is on March 3, 5 p.m. at Jose Rizal University. My award will serve as my ?tanglaw? through all of show biz?s crazy twists and turns.
