I KNEW that my dad was going to push me to do some stunts (for ?Karate Kid,? where Jaden co-stars with Jackie Chan) and my mom was going to push me only to a certain point. My dad was pushing me to the very edge. If we were to use a metaphor, my feet were sliding off the rocks of a cliff and I had my toes hanging over the edge. My mom was very scared at some point. So was I and so was my dad. But he just didn?t say anything.

[Still] I?d say he?s a great father and person. We go to the movie theater all the time.

Both my dad and mom (Jada, also an actor) give me advice about acting, [like], ?You have to stay in the scene. No matter what happens, you got to stay in the scene.? But I?d say my dad is the best actor in the family because he has been doing it the longest and he?s had more work.
