Dollywood
If Binoe has a GF, can Kylie have a BF?

ROBIN PADILLA?S CUTE daughter Kylie was asked by a makeup artist if she approves of Mariel Rodriguez for her dad. She retorted: ?Okay naman sa akin pero kung sila na talaga, dapat payagan na rin ako ni Dad magka-BF.? All in love is fair for father and daughter?

Prior to her departure for the United States, Kris Aquino told James Yap that she wanted everything done quickly and quietly. What about the other ?Q? word?Questions that remain unanswered?

Hello, Pia!

Could it be true that Pia Guanio has found another love so soon? Is her stint on ?Eat... Bulaga!? co-terminus with her romance with Vic, just like his previous GFs?

At a show biz party, her friends were overheard asking her, ?Are you still with Vic? You?re too hot for him!?

She seemed spaced-out. Has her hotness turned cold for Bossing?

Refreshing

The Alex Gonzaga-Kean Cipriano team-up on TV5?s ?BFGF? (on its 2nd season) is refreshing.

Although they both say there?s nothing going on between them, excitement is in the air when they?re around.

?We don?t know where we are going,? says Kean. ?What?s important is that we?re having fun getting there.? The ?Alexeans? fan club are enjoying the adventure with them.

Jomari Yllana called me on the day of Usher?s concert, which his Fearless Productions mounted. He sounded euphoric, saying VIP seats were sold out and he was expecting a full house.

He gave me tickets but, since I?m an MJ fanatic, I opted not to watch. After having watched MJ perform live thrice, any concert would pale in comparison.

My gay ?BF,? TV reporter Nelson Canlas, who covered the show, told me that Usher played the beat box and wanted to strip, but was afraid he might get arrested.

Joms and his business partners are bringing in John Mayer next in October 1.

A colleague is appalled at how ?Pilipinas Got Talent champ,? Jovit Baldivino has been acting lately.

?At a press con, he said he was too tired to answer questions,? my source says. ?Pero kapag sa TV ang interview, game siya. Gusto niya may camera parati. Kabago-bago pa lang niya sa show biz. Dapat umayos siya.?

Maybe Jovit would have been more suited for a show titled ?Pilipinas Got Attitude??

10, no less

Star Cinema is set to mark another milestone in the Pinoy horror genre, as it presents ?Cinco,? (opens tomorrow) which features five horrifying episodes with an unexpected threading by a single element: ?Mata,? topbilled by Maja Salvador and Rayver Cruz; ?Mukha? starring Mariel Rodriguez; ?Braso? featuring the Gigger Boys; ?Puso? with Pokwang and Zanjoe Marudo; and ?Paa? with Jodi Sta. Maria.

What?s Mariel?s scariest experience? ?I?m afraid of the dark,? she says. ?I can never sleep alone, so I ask my PA to sleep with me.?

I teased her: ?So would you allow Robin Padilla to sleep with you?? We both couldn?t stop laughing. I chided Mariel some more: ?Try it. He?s not a Cinco. He?s a 10!?

Marielle Corpuz was a member of the Philippine Team at the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) held in Hollywood last July 2008. She was the sole Filipino finalist in the senior division. This year, from July 17-25, she will once again represent the country at the same competition. Bonne Chance, Marielle!

Personal
Happy birthday to Chef Cely Neri!
