IT MUST?VE been a rumor major enough to merit an official statement from ABS-CBN Corporate Communications, dismissing all reports regarding the noontime show ?Wowowee? as mere ?speculation.?

The statement said ABS-CBN management and embattled host Willie Revillame had met on ?the possible options? after his break. ?There has been no agreement [reached] between the network and Willie.?

Should there be any new developments, the statement concluded, the station would announce it at the right time.

Before the gala premiere of her Cinemalaya entry ?Donor? at the CCP on Monday, Meryl Soriano, Revillame?s daughter, told Rushes that she was clueless about the whole situation. ?I?m aware of his meeting with the bosses,? she said. ?But I don?t know what they discussed. We don?t talk about work. When I go to his house, my son Elijah and I just swim in his pool.?

She noted, however, that Papi Willie seems ?very relaxed these days.?
