Dollywood
Sharon has Tito’s vote of confidence

TITO SOTTO, whom I fondly call Tito Guapo, is sad that he and her niece, Sharon Cuneta, are at odds right now because of political issues.

His official statement: ?I?m sorry if Sharon is hurting but the Senate presidency transcends family ties. The Senate should remain independent and should not be pressured even with family concerns. I hope that in due time she would understand my decision. Whatever my decision will be, it won?t change my feelings towards her.?

I prodded him for more of his sentiments. ?I told Sharon and also Kris that if ever they would run, they won?t even have to ask for my vote. I?ll be with them on Day 1,? he said. ?On the other hand, considering the political aspects, those who supported me politically especially on the ground will feel offended that I turn my back on them and support a group or political party that did not want me. Sharon said in a text that she understood completely.?

While the political landscape changes, families are forever. No matter what, the Megastar will always have Tito Guapo?s vote of confidence.

Out of reach

I texted Jomari Yllana for his reaction about his business partner?s Ronald Singson?s alleged drug trafficking case in Hong Kong. ?I don?t know the real story yet,? he says. ?I haven?t talked to him. But as a brother and a friend, I am praying for him.?

Ria, an ex of Ronald with whom he has a love child, has been crying for days because he has been out of reach. His GF Lovi Poe, however, was spotted partying in Izakaya the night before the news broke out. She?s apparently clueless about what?s going on in her BF?s life.

Will Channel V?s top honcho come out of the mess with a big V sign for Victorious or a sad V sign for Vanquished?

Big switch

A reliable source confirms that Mr. Fu will be leaving Energy FM second week of August to be the star DJ of a new masa station to be launched next month.

My source says the big transfer of Mr. Fu will rock the radio industry. He made Energy FM the top station and this time he is tasked to make another station No. 1. With Fu?s captive market, that would be an easy thing to do.

Plagiarist?

Could it be true that Gil Portes plagiarized the script of Bong Ramos in his Cinemalaya entry ?Two Funerals,? which won major awards? Heard that Bong is planning to file charges against Direk Gil and esteemed directors like Joel Lamangan and Mel Chionglo are backing him up.

Will the ?Two Funerals? director start ?mourning? soon?

Talents tour

?Pilipinas Got Talent? grand winner Jovit Baldivino starts his musical journey, with Star Records and Sony Music co-producing his first album entitled ?Faithfully.?

His winning piece, ?Too Much Love Will Kill You,? is the album?s carrier single. It also includes ?I?ll Be The One,? ?Always? and ?Paano.?

Jovit and the rest of the PGT talents begin their provincial tour on July 31 at the Cebu Waterfront Hotel Grand Ballroom. Log on to www.starrecords.ph.

The PGT champ is out to proclaim, ?Gotcha Pilipinas!?
