Dollywood
Wendell Ramos story not just show biz ‘chika’

By Dolly Anne Carvajal

AS A MOTHER MYSELF, I know where the mom of Wendell Ramos was coming from when she refuted my story about her son being arrested and jailed for a few days.

I am not out to ruin Wendell. In fact, I wrote the item in question form and I didn?t specify the charges. His late manager, Tito Douglas Quijano, was like a father to me.

I am not at liberty to divulge my source, who requested anonymity. This is no ordinary show biz chika; it?s serious news. Maybe Parañaque officials could shed some light on the matter. I rest my case here.

Hey, Lovi!

Could it be true that Ronald Singson flew to Hong Kong after the concert of Usher, which he mounted, because he had a major fight with his GF, Lovi Poe? Did they, in fact, break up?

My source says the row was triggered by a close-up shot of Ronald?s ex, Ria (with whom he has a love child) flashed on the video wall after Lovi?s close-up during the concert. Lovi wasn?t too happy about that. But she should let it slide and give Ronald the moral support he badly needs now that he?s facing a drug trafficking case in HK. After all, Ronald treats her like a princess. She should stand by her man through thick and thin, sick or sin.

Ruffa break

Ruffa Guttierrez is taking a six-day holiday after hosting a fab, rock-glam 7th birthday party for her daughter, Lorin. We asked if she was en route to Venezuela for a rendezvous with her new inspiration, Cesar Flores. She flashed an enigmatic smile and said, ?I?ll keep you posted.? DJ Mo says that, based on text messages he read on Ruffa?s phone, Cesar wants Ruffa to meet his parents, and that they?re planning to go to the beach. The plot thickens as the affection deepens!

So much flak

It?s sad that after giving honor to our country, Charice is getting so much flak just because of her botox treatment.
It?s her face and she can do what she wants with it. Lighten up, folks. Let Charice be (in ?Glee!?).

Kapatid now

Former Kapuso star Gerald Santos (grand champ of Pinoy Pop Superstar) is now a Kapatid on TV5.
He claims that a composer-arranger he worked with in GMA 7 attempted to molest him several times.

After suffering in silence for years, he finally spoke up and left his mother studio.

How could he have endured the unendurable for so long? Maybe he?s just out to make some noise. Be that as it may, it got me thinking why networks still produce talent shows when the winners eventually move to another station, anyway. What?s the point of plucking talents out of nowhere when they can?t be given enough exposure?
