Dollywood
Singson’s exes mum about drug charges

Ria, the charming ex of Ronald Singson?with whom he has a 2-year-old love child, Samantha Spade?would rather not comment about the Ilocos Sur congressman?s alleged drug-trafficking case in Hong Kong. The ex-couple have remained good friends and Ronald gives their baby full support.

I haven?t met Ria. But based on her pictures, I must say that she?s star material. She was only 17 when she and Ronald were together. Their romance lasted four years.

Ronald was also linked to Angelu de Leon and Maui Taylor, among other celebrities.

I thought Ronald?s only vice was women. Never knew he was into drugs. Or is he just a fall guy? He should have chosen the lesser evil.

Another ex?

At press time, Ronald?s (ex?) GF, Lovi Poe, remains mum about his incarceration. Maybe she just doesn?t want to get dragged into the mess.

Could it be true that she is still using Ronald?s van? That?s her right as his GF but she should also not forget her duty to give Ronald the moral support he badly needs right now.

Lavish gift

Ogie Alcasid blushed when I asked about the lavish gift he got from his honey, Regine Velasquez.

?She gets embarrassed when that subject is brought up,? he said. ?I also shower her with expensive presents. Madalas nga I don?t look at the price tag. Pikit mata ko na lang binibili (laughs). We are taking a trip on my birthday because we haven?t had quality time in months. It will also be the perfect time to finalize plans for our long overdue wedding.?

The happiness of the groom is in full bloom.

Back on track

Ara Mina is back in full swing after her defeat in the elections. It only goes to show that she belongs more to show biz than the political arena.

She plays Elsa, the wife of Cesar Montano, in GMA 7?s newest drama-fantasy series, ?Ilumina? (premiers tonight on the Telebabad block). Cesar portrays Romano, a simple farmer who accidentally finds himself amidst the power struggle of the white and black sorcerers.

Little do they know that the search of the sorcerers for the elusive Ilumina (Book of Magic) will intertwine the lives and loves of their own children?formerly conjoined twins Romana (Rhian Ramos) and Krisanta (Jackie Rice).

If Ara had magical powers from Ilumina, what would she change in her life? ?I?d like to be a wholesome star (laughs). Tipong Kim Chiu na puro love story and feel-good movie,? she said. ?If I had a magic wand, I?d make the perfect partner for my mom to come into her life kasi mula nung nahiwalay siya kay Dad, di pa siya kinakasal. Para kumpleto na happiness niya.?

What advice does she give her sis Cristine Reyes about her budding romance with Rayver Cruz? ?Secretive si Cristine so I don?t know the real score between them,? said Ara. ?Alam ko lang super close sila. They should just take their time kasi bata pa sila at wag nila pabayaan careers nila.?

ARAcadabra time!
