Makati court acts on Kris Aquino and James Yap annulment

MANILA, Philippines?The Makati court already started acting on the annulment case filed by actress and presidential sister Kris Aquino after it has been raffled off to Judge Cristina Sulit of the Makati Regional Trial Court Branch 140.

Aquino filed a petition for the declaration of nullity of marriage from cager James Yap on the ground of lack of authority of the solemnizing officer.

Kris and James got married in a civil ceremony at the house of Boy Abunda in July 2005. Former Mayor now House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte solemnized their marriage.
