LOS ANGELES ? Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler has signed a deal to become a judge on ?American Idol,? according to a news report on Wednesday quoting one of his bandmates.
Tyler, 62, would fill one of three slots left on the four-person panel by the departures of Simon Cowell and Ellen DeGeneres and the reported axing of songwriter Kara DioGuardi.

The Puerto Rican singer is set to release his memoir on November 2. It will be released in Spanish the same day as ?Yo? (Spanish for ?I?).
Martin has said that preparing to write the book was one of the reasons he decided to reveal earlier this year that he is gay.
