Dollywood
Dick: No to ‘Petra’ remake

Roderick Paulate is excited to shoot his movie with Maricel Soriano in Como, Italy. Won?t he make a special appearance in the remake of his movie ?Petrang Kabayo? top-billed by Vice Ganda?

?Sunod-sunod kasi ang movie ko na gay ang role,? he explains. ?Baka magka-umay factor, so pass na muna ako. I know Vice can handle it well. ?Wag na lang sana ikumpara ang portrayal namin. Magkaiba ang training namin. Siguradong may sorpresa naman si Vice sa pag-atake niya ng role.?

The original ?Petrang Kabayo? never horses around with his craft. Dick takes comedy seriously.

Grace under pressure

True to her Miss Universe form, Gloria Diaz exudes grace under pressure.

?I never thought my comment about Cebuanos would stir up a controversy,? she says. ?I didn?t single out Cebuanos. I also said that if a beauty pageant contestant is from Ilocos or Pampanga, it would be better if she gets an interpreter so she could express herself better. But my interview was edited so my comment was taken out of context.?

?I am not one who would ever make derogatory remarks about Cebuanos or anyone for that matter. How shocking that they are even thinking of making me persona non grata in Cebu. I?m not a killer or a pusher. I love everything about Cebu?their lechon, mangoes, handicrafts, etc. My BF Mike is Cebuano.

?I?m sorry if Cebuanos misunderstood what I said. But if it?s any consolation, this issue made me realize that I still matter. At my age, I am still a mover and a shaker.?

What would the Philippines be without Cebu and Gloria Diaz? The Queen City of the South and the forever Beauty Queen ought to make peace.

Crisis in style

Could it be true that Ronald Singson bought a yacht in Hong Kong? If so, he can have some R&R while awaiting the verdict of his case. In crisis, in style.

Reverse psychology

Ryan Agoncillo and Judy Ann Santos will name their baby boy-to-be Juan Luis or Lucho for short. ?We patterned it from our daughter?s name Yohan Louise,? says Ryan. ?Para siya ang male version ng ate niya.

?As a dad, I will try to use reverse psychology on my son. Like when he hovers around me while I?m into my fave sport, I?ll send him back to his room. That way he will become curious and eventually get into the same stuff I enjoy.?

Is that the ?Lady Dada? in him talking?

Goodbye, 100K

Ruffa Gutierrez, Tita Cristy Fermin and I were pleasantly surprised when Mo Twister presented 10 revealing pics of him and Rhian Ramos in ?Paparazzi.? Since Ruffa challenged everyone to send in incriminating photos of the two in exchange for P10,000 each, Mo beat everyone to it.

So Ruffa had to kiss her 100K goodbye. Mo requested that the prize be donated to Ruffa?s favorite charity for battered women. All in good fun and for a good cause.
