Amy Perez finds drama in real life

BIRTHDAY GIRL Amy Perez can?t ask for anything more. Her new show, ?Untold Stories? (premieres tomorrow 8 p.m. on TV5), is another blessing for her.

It?s a spin-off from her top-rating show ?Face to Face.? It will delve into the real-life dramas of her guests so that viewers could empathize or sympathize with them more.

Any untold story in Amy?s own life? ?It has always been an open book,? she says. ?Especially my love life.?

If there?s any chapter in her life she would want to edit out, what is it and why? ?Getting married,? she quips. ?Even if I was already 27, I should have given more time to know the guy well. Kaya ?wag magpadala sa sweet talk ?cause when reality steps in, all that will be gone.?

Bearing lessons in life and love, Amy can now look back and forward with a big smile in her heart.

Overprotective BF

Bayani Agbayani would rather not make a big fuss about his confrontation with Dingdong Dantes at Ogie Alcasid?s birthday party.

It was triggered by an incident that happened last year at the taping of Marian Rivera?s sitcom ?Show Me the Manny.?

?Nagulat ako nung parang hinahamon ako ni Dong,? Bayani explains.

Bayani doesn?t want to milk the ?gatas issue? for all its worth.

I?ve always known Dong to be a perfect gentleman. That?s why I?m quite surprised to hear Bayani?s story. At press time, I was still waiting for Dong?s reply for his side of the story.

Word war

The war between Claudine Barretto and Angelica Panganiban has gotten out of hand. Will the former friends end up battling it out in court?

Someone they both respect ought to mediate already. It?s so unbecoming for two ladies like them to be exchanging nasty words via tweets and texts.

Although Angelica?s camp says that she?s taking the path of silence, the insinuation that Angelica?s revelations could be damaging to Claud?s career only aggravates matters.

Sometimes it?s not what we say but what we don?t say and can?t say that has more impact.

10th year

Chalk magazine celebrates 10 years of rocking the campus scene with a party at Encore at the Fort. Iya Villania and Victor Basa host while DJ Euric and DJ Mars Miranda provide the music. Roll call starts at 9 p.m.

K-Pop experience

Smart and TV5 are the presentors of the concert ?Intensity? featuring Korean superstar Rain and U-Kiss with guest Christian Bautista on Sept. 11 at the SM Mall of Asia Open Grounds. Let there be Rain!

PERSONAL: Thanks a mil to Maryo Labad of Xtra! Magazine for the wonderful cover feature of me in their Sept. 1-15 issue.
