RUFFA GUTIERREZ has admitted she caused the rift between her mom, Annabelle Rama, and talent manager Angeli Pangilinan-Valenciano, but she is confident it will be resolved soon.

?I was offended by some things that Tita Angeli said about me, and I told my mom. I didn?t know that, an hour later, she would run into Tita Angeli,? said Ruffa during a media gathering for her new TV5 show, ?Star Factor.? She refused to specify what Angeli said.

?The things now coming out in the papers are all delayed reaction,? Ruffa noted.

Ruffa, 36, also said she had no interest in having a boyfriend soon, especially after her recent ?Filipino experience.?

She meant John Lloyd Cruz, with whom she had a short-lived relationship. The actor dated Shaina Magdangal shortly after their breakup.

Ruffa denied involvement with Venezuelan Cesar Flores, president of Smartmatic-Asia Pacific. ?It?s best for us to remain friends. I want to concentrate on work and my kids.?

Ruffa hopes the next guy is for keeps: ?I don?t want to keep jumping from one relationship to another.?

?Star Factory? is a weekly reality talent search where her mom is one of the jurors. Ruffa said working on one show has brought them closer. ?Mom is so funny,? she said, ?always trying to start a fight with me, even on Twitter. I told her, ?can?t you text me na lang???

?Star Factor? premiered Sept. 12. The winner brings home P1 million in cash and a two-story house (and lot). Completing the five-member jury are: Audie Gemora, Jose Javier Reyes, Raymund Isaac and Ryan Cayabyab.
