Is this love on the rebound?

IT?S BOUND to be asked: Is this love on the rebound?

No sooner had Pia Guanio ended her five-year relationship with ?Eat Bulaga? co-host Vic Sotto than she found herself in the arms of another man?businessman Steve Mago. And they?re getting married.

The TV host?s non-show biz fiancé, reportedly a car dealer, came into the picture only late last year, when they met at a party.

A source close to Pia said at press time that her relatives had yet to meet Mago.

?There?s been no occasion for the family to get together these days so she hasn?t introduced him,? the source said, adding that the reason Guanio gave her family for the breakup with Vic was ?a difference of opinions.?

Broadcast journalist Mike Enriquez, one of the principal sponsors for the undated ?beach wedding,? told Inquirer by phone on Friday that he had met Mago only once.

?For Pia to choose to marry him means he must be a good man. I?m honored to be their ninong,? said Enriquez. ?They looked happy together.?

Enriquez said he and his wife, Lizabeth, had dinner and cocktails with the new couple.

In an interview on GMA 7?s ?24 Oras,? where she is a segment host, Guanio confirmed that Mago and his family formally asked for her hand in marriage on May 8.

The pamamanhikan was reportedly held at the home of Guanio?s parents at the Royal Estates in Tagaytay City. Only immediate family members were present.
