MANILA, Philippines?Celebrity chef, glamour girl, writer and international gastronome, Tina Pamintuan never fails to make waves, dahlings. She recently demonstrated her impeccable taste and style in an astounding dinner she hosted for this trés, trés charmante royal couple, Count and Countess Hieronymous Metternich of Bavaria, Germany, no less, dahlings.

It was great to be part of the private soirees planned for the Metternichs? visit. To welcome the German super aristocrats, Tina prepared a chic sit-down, delicious Filipino dinner for 30 hot namedroppables held at the lavish Madrigal-De Leon mansion in North Forbes, dahlings. The affair had the royal couple, Ronnie and his Filipino wife, gorgeous, elegant beauty Marynic, whom he met in Germany.

Tina also brought the Metternichs, who were completely impressed, to Anton Mendoza?s latest showcase house in Tagaytay, owned by Dante Go, no less.

They also made a quick visit to our fave hotspots Nuvo and Embassy Supper Club to see how Cosmo Manille nightlife is like. They were welcomed by the king of the nightlife, Louie Y, and partying?s hottest Prince Erik Cua, plus other cool and entertaining young dahlings.

Later that week, gorgeous Ruffa Gutierrez, along with another stunning looker Che Singson, and Chavit hosted a Japanese dinner under the stars in their private yacht at the Manila Yacht Club. Philip Cruz provided the piano and music from his awesome Goozie 4 yacht, parked side by side, natch.

It was crystal clear, dahlings, that the royal couple was so moved and enamored by our Filipino charm and hospitality, thanks to Tina Pamintuan, the ultimate dahling.

Thus, my lips are unsealed as I have an open invitation to visit their 80-bedroom castle in Jettingen this year.

It was indeed one enchanted evening after another, palanggas.

To see what Tina Pamintuan is cooking up next, e-mail can.tina@yahoo.com or call 0917-7932499. (Cantina offers food and beverage consultancy, specialty catering and culinary classes.) Check it out, palanggas.

Celebrating the good life

Imagine living in a house located within a first-rate subdivision, with all the amenities you can dream of, plus an awesome Olympic-size swimming pool thrown in, palanggas, and a three-hectare eco park.

Welcome to Xevera! This super-affordable housing community that offers first-class facilities with a monthly amortization that will not definitely drain your bank account, dahlings, is from Globe Asiatique Realty Holdings Corp., an award-winning real estate company.

The launch in Bacolor, Pampanga, had hotshot guests. Vice President Noli De Castro led the namedroppable pack, while Globe Asiatique brilliant president and real estate tycoon Delfin Lee turned over the Deed of Donation for the town hall of Bacolor to Mayor Romeo ?Buddy? Dungca, ?for a better and easier life for the Pampangueños,? said Delfin L. Mayor Dungca, in turn, presented a plaque to Mr. Lee, honoring him ?as an adopted son of Pampanga,? no less, palanggas.

People danced endlessly on the streets while others ogled at their favorite movie stars who entertained them. But they all enjoyed their favorite Filipino dishes and I?m sure no one left with hunger pangs.

By nightfall, GA hosted a fab concert at Expo Filipino, with hosts Luis Manzano and Mariel Rodriguez making the crowd go into hysterics with their endless screams and whistles.

The school, Don Antonio Lee Chi Uan Building, was donated to the Department of Education.

Built in partnership with the Pag-Ibig Fund, Xevera is Globe Asiatique?s way of helping Filipinos live in a classic Spanish-Portuguese house of their dreams, palanggas. A Xevera townhouse costs only P820,000, with easy payment starting at P20,000, and take note, palanggas, zero-percent interest. The remaining balance can be loaned through Pag-Ibig for over 30 years at only 7-percent interest. Not bad, huh! Delfin Lee said, ?With Xevera, it?s now possible for everyone to live the good life, and definitely change the way we live.?

Next stop for Globe Asiatique is Davao.

Invitational golf tournament

It was golf time again, palanggas, when that one card everyone should have, Mabuhay Miles, natch, had a swinging partee, the annual Mabuhay Miles Elite Invitational Golf Tournament held at the trés prestigious, upscale Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club, no less. More than 300 of Philippine Airlines? Elite and Premier Elite Mabuhay Miles members from all over the world played hard and partied harder, dahlings.

Manille-based golf whiz Augusto Theodore de Jesus had a match with US-based Thomas Culligan stroke for stroke, and then relied on a favorable handicap to bag overall honors in a thrilling finish to this prestigious golf tournament, dahlings.

Smart eye-catching Babsie Aragon, PAL?s assistant vice president for product, said in a short speech, ?This annual golf tournament is a day of fun, friends and free flight from Philippine Airlines,? which everyone agreed on.

Aprés hitting that ball all over the golf course, it was time to boogie and, believe moi, palanggas, boogie they did, after having a fab time with K Brosas; Mocha; Viva Hot Babes; Myles Hernandez and southern gent emcee Archie Lacson.

On top of the winners? major prizes, Philippine Airlines? Mabuhay Miles had for grabs Miles Certificates, redeemable for any PAL international or domestic destinations, among the other tons of raffle bonanza, dahlings.

Major sponsors were Airbus, Boeing, Callaway Golf, Eton Properties, GE Aviation, HSBC, Nokia and Petron. Other sponsors were Toyota Motor Philippines and Century Park Hotel, the official hotel for this well-attended tournament, palanggas.
