MANILA, Philippines??I usually wear a tee and running shorts if I know I have time to run when the day is done. But I will layer it with an asymmetric loose hanky drop top from my Tan Gan Line. This can give it a jumper or tunic look or Grecian one-sided or blouson look which I will remove when my work will wind down to work-out,? Lulu says.
?My shoes, from my flat silver slippers or summer wedgies, will be replaced with color sure running shoes. I will take off all jewelry except this Tiffany silver bangle. An iPod or a companion to discuss the blog makes the workout a less hectic exercise. Also bring an exercise jacket like the one I?m showing today worn as a bustier. This is vital when you sweat and cool down before the shower.?
Tips for buying clothes
?As a fashion designer for 25 years, I always check the material, I choose natural blends of cotton and linen with a touch of lycra which has drape and volume. It has to be functional, durable but most of all comfortable. The cuts and style must be classic and the colors must flatter you. It is always sensible to buy pieces more than outfits. This way you can match or mix forever. Would you believe I have ?80s and ?90s numbers that I can use again now that the fashion world is focusing on those two decades. But I will remove the shoulder pads.? (laughter)
What to expect from Lulu
?Go to Tan Gan outlets for my striped or solid pieces. The prices are fair. Go to my new Greenbelt 5 store to get my 100-percent cotton separates. When the monsoon comes I have an exciting new line that looks like antique lace but is printed on my knitwear. Please watch Fashion Watch in August where I will introduce knit wear bridal creations.?
