Kitchen fit for a chef

MANILA, Philippines - Jay Leno, Martha Stewart and Donald Trump have them in their kitchens. Designed to bring convenience and accuracy in the science of cooking, the GE Monogram Collection has everything a well-appointed kitchen seeks: Sophistication, sleek metallic lines and ?thoughtful? features that make kitchen work less of a chore.

?GE is always known for its durable fridges. Several surveys have proved that we are the first thing that comes to mind when people think of a fridge. Locally, however, very little is yet known of our high-end products,? said Norman J. Reynoso, marketing services and institutional sales manager of CYA Industries, distributors of GE.

Consider, for instance, the GE Monogram Induction Cooktops, the digital electric cooktop with reflective flat finish. The metallic top not only reflects the color theme of the kitchen, but it also runs smoothly from edge to edge so that cleaning takes a mere wipe of a cloth.

The Induction Cooktops also use magnetic field that heats up its surface only when it detects iron in any metal forms, such as cast iron or magnetic stainless-steel pans, and even automatically adjust heating to the pan?s measurement.
The control-lock feature locks in and maintains the temperature with accuracy, a characteristic important to serious chefs.

Another addition to the Monogram family is the Trivection wall oven, bakes food up to five times faster than conventional ovens. The speed is attributed to the Trivection technology that combines thermal, convection and microwave cooking.
A 22-pound turkey is done in two hours instead of four; lasagna in 15 minutes instead of an hour; angel cake in 26 minutes instead of 48; four-pound beef tenderloin in instead of an hour.
Wine protection
Also new is the Wine Reserve with Privacy Glass, with digital temperature control for precise settings. Storing up to 57 wine bottles with full extension sliding racks, the liquid-crystal technology transforms the glass from clear to opaque in an instant, making it inconspicuous while safe-guarding the wines.

The GE Monogram professional bottom-freezer refrigeration, at a whopping size of 72 inches, comes in premium stainless-steel with robust design.
The ice-maker is equipped with GE Smartwater filtration. There is also the temperature Management System with Multi-Shelf Air Tower that evenly distributes cool air.

Completing the setup is the home reverse osmosis innovation GE Merlin. Considered among the best water-purification systems technology, reverse osmosis is an excellent choice for filtering out a wide range of contaminants, including heavy metals and lead.

?It?s like having a water-refilling station right at your home, only better. You?re assured your family is getting industry-grade water-purification technology, not commercial ?purified? water. You don?t have to put up with the hassle of having a stranger come into your home each week,? Reynoso said.

The GE Merlin is capable of separating impurities as atomic as .0001 micron, filtering off even the deadly bacteria E. coli (Escherichia coli), said Reynoso.
Small and easy to set up under the sink, it uses two patented membranes and one carbon block filter. It is also among the industry?s fastest producer of purified water?up to 720 gallons per day.

The GE Merlin produces reverse-osmosis on demand so there?s no need to set up a tank to store water. It is built with a technology that enables the filtration system to run on its own, only requiring a pumping device on extreme conditions, such as when the water pressure is low.
