MANILA, Philippines?This is one topic I hesitate to write about, because I do not want to be called ?a prophet of doom,? which I am not. However, the Intelligent Forces up there have been making me kulit lately?and also some other channels and contacts in the Philippines and other parts of the world, to talk more about the coming earth changes to serve as warning to earth people worldwide.
Something big is about to happen on earth in the next few years. I refer to the end of the present earth cycle, which, according to the Mayan calendar, will take place precisely at midnight of Dec. 21, 2012. Some researchers, however, say it is going to happen in 2011, a year earlier. You may take your pick.
Now, let me be very clear about this. The Mayan calendar or prophecy does not say the world will end on that date. It just says it?s the end of the present earth cycle that began in Aug. 31 14 BC and will end 5,126 years later on or about Dec. 21, 2012. John Major Jenkins believes the ancient Mayan calendar priests were able to chart a 26,000-year astronomical cycle called ?precession of the equinoxes? with their naked eye. The 2012 end date coincides with a ?galactic alignment? of the winter solstice sun and the axis that modern astronomers draw to bisect the Milky Way, called the ?galactic equator.?
I have already been castigated by an anonymous ?professor of UP? who texted me after I first mentioned about the Mayan calendar in a previous column. ?How dare you say the world will end in 2012? Are you God?? You see how some people can misread what I write? What I said in the previous article was that according to the Mayan prophecy, ?the world as we know it will end on Dec. 21, 2012.? That?s not the same as saying the world will end on that date.
So, what precisely were the Mayan calendar priests saying? According to Jenkins, in his book ?Maya Cosmogenesis 2012: The True Meaning of the Mayan Calendar End Date,? the period around 2012 ?will provide the opportunity for the rebirth of creation and reconciliation of infinity and finitude, time and eternity.? The ancient Maya, he said, knew it, ?and just like an alarm clock, they set their calendar to coincide with the occasion.?
Series of cycles
The Maya, according to him, conceived of history not as the linear passage of time as we know it, but as a series of cycles. They called them ?world age cycles? that would be repeated over and over again. A lot of people, said Jenkins, have asked him if the world will end in 2012. ?The short answer,? according to him, ?is yes; the long answer is no.?
I think the point we human beings have to remember is that this world we live in, this planet earth, is alive! And it gets hurt and retaliates against those who hurt it, just like any living creature does.
Man has so abused our planet that it is beginning to retaliate to protect itself. There will be certain changes that will take place as the end of each cycle nears. These changes are inevitable. They will happen whether we like it or not, or whether we believe it or not.
The earth during the past decades has been showing these changes at an accelerating rate. The evidence is becoming clearer every year. Don?t you notice that there are more frequent earthquakes that happened around the world these past several years? And more typhoons, hurricanes, floods, and other natural calamities have occurred than ever before? Has anybody made any comparison between the number of deaths that have occurred as a result of accidents and those brought about by nature?
Such seers, prophets and visionaries as Edgar Cayce, Hopi Indian shamans, pyramid builders, Nostradamus, Dr. James J. Hurtak and José Arguelles, etc., have repeatedly warned us of the coming earth changes that will surely take place during the first two decades of the 21st century. Some say we are living now in the end days predicted in the Book of Revelations or Apocalypse of the Christian Bible. Many have scoffed or laughed at these predictions. Only a few are still laughing at them now. The signs are just too clear to be ignored.
In a session I had last year with Billy Cancio, Vicki Belo?s brother, who communicates with angelic creatures through the use of the pendulum combined with what resembles a oujia board, I was told by the Archangel Raphael, ?Your understanding will change by the next decade. You are spending time understanding the predictions made by the Mayans. They will happen as predicted, but you will be given a glimpse of the changes that will come! Be prepared to write about these things.?
Whether that was really the Archangel Raphael talking to me, or just the figment of Billy?s imagination, I do not know. But I am not taking any chances. Would you?
