Vitamin C. I take one 500mg tablet daily and increase the dosage if I have a cold. Vitamin C is a high antioxidant, which helps remove free radicals in skin cells and in effect repairs the skin from within. (Vitamin E is also good for the skin).

Free radicals naturally occur and can add to premature ageing as well as an increased risk of cancer, particularly if you smoke and/or drink. Vitamin C leaves the skin looking more radiant, and can be taken topically or as a supplement to aid overall health. I use both.

A good topical line to look out for is Murad, which is enriched with Vitamin C. Daily exercise is also important, as sweating everyday helps remove bad toxins.
