MANILA, Philippines? The current runway looks are wearable, gorgeous and easy enough for anyone to do at home. The trick to looking supermodel-sultry is to focus on one part of the face at a time. As in fashion, you reveal some parts of your body and conceal others. You don?t bare it all at once.
The same applies here. You can?t emphasize your features if you make it all stand out at the same time. You must apply make-up conservatively, giving each facial feature time to shine. Maximize your beauty potential with these beauty trends you have to try.
Subtle cat eyes. Contour your eye with a golden caramel shadow before brushing liquid liner as close to the upper lash line as possible. Start from the outer corner, create the wing shape, then fill in. The wing lifts the eyes and makes you look younger. Sweep on three coats of mascara and go easy on the rest of the face. Accent the cheeks by applying a berry blush to the apples and a raspberry gloss to match your lips. With such dramatic eyes, you wouldn?t need to do much to the rest of your face.
Glowing cheeks. Use peach and berry tones to give porcelain skin a wintry glow. After applying concealer on your under eyes, swirl peach blush onto the apples of your cheeks to warm up the complexion. Sweep a berry tone outside the apples to add dimension to the cheekbones. Then stain lips with a light berry gloss.
For the icy sheen on the eyes, use a base of teal eye shadow all over the lids, then smudge the top and inner of the eye with a white powder shadow. You can also line the bottom inner rims of the eye with white pencil. The white touches brighten the eye and give this sweet look an edge. Then add mascara to the top lashes only.
Bold red lips. Always line your lips when doing a red mouth. Choose a scarlet pencil that matches your red lipstick. For a perfect mess-free application, start at the bow of the lips, then bring color out to the sides and use a matte color. Glossy red lips are harder to maintain as they easily smudge the teeth and outer lines of the lip. Sculpt the cheekbones by brushing a muted pink blush. Then line the eyes with a thin black liner. Work as close to the lash line as you can. This makes the lashes look fuller, so you don?t need false ones. To finish off, apply mascara.
