The Zugbuana Jaycees will conduct a free cleft lip operation project called ?Ngisi Na Part 2? on Saturday, August 16 at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC).

In cooperation with the VSMMC and volunteer doctors headed by world renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Jesusito Zubiri, Ngisi Na Part 2 is the follow-up project of the Zugbuana Jaycees? June 2005 endeavor.

Zugbuana project chair Rosel Sumayo is calling on interested patients to contact the organization before August 13 to undergo medical screening.

Dr. Zubiri and his team have pledged their time and medical expertise to 15 beneficiaries, from infant to 18 years of age, who are yet to be selected.

The administration of VSMMC, headed by Chief of Clinics Dr. Roque Anthony Paradela, has also pledged the free use of the hospital?s operating, recovery and ward rooms.

The Zugbuanas, a Junior Chamber International Philippines (JCI) chapter composed of dynamic ladies headed by president Leahliz Sia, are looking forward to creating smiles and changing lives once again to Cebu?s less fortunate children born with congenital deformity of the lips and palates.
