MANILA, Philippines—From Asia and the US to Europe and the Middle East, overseas Filipino workers (OFW) provide the standard of excellence against which other workers are measured.

The tedious process of selection and training starts with the Philippine Association of Local Service Contractors (Palscon), a private organization engaged in the staffing business.

Success

Palscon takes pride in its roster of member-companies, among which are City Service Corporation and Corporate Executive Search and Service Resources. Today, it has over a hundred corporate and individual members. Their success is due to their strong adherence to Palscon’s mission of promoting the professionalization of the service industry.

At the helm of Palscon is Rodolfo Enriquez (of Triple E Manpower and General Services), president. Assisting him are Rafael Chico and Henry Carmelo Nuqui, as well as Emma Pabillo, Sarah Deloraya, Agnes Corazon Lim Escalona, Loida Bautista and Ma. Linda Dichoson.

Palscon has helped transform the nation’s workforce into a formidable manpower resource because of its professional and ethical business conduct. It’s a primary source of well-trained and reliable workers, adding luster to the reputation of the nation’s workforce.
