Vitality from nutrients - The prime sources of energy are carbohydrates, proteins and fats. Vegetables and fruits are packed with enzymes and nutrients. Have five servings of veggies a day. This ought to fill the daily dietary requirement. It is also good to know that the more bitter the veggies, the higher in phytochemicals (i.e. ampalaya or bitter gourd).
Remember that salad is considered "low-stress food" because it requires no hassle in the preparation. Also, it's considered as alkaline food. This is why feelings and emotional expressions depend primarily on the health of our intestines. And that is why they say if you tame your emotions, you influence your health.
To look better, have more radiant skin, boost the immune system, fight disease like ulcers, diabetes and cancer.
Take 1/2 cup of kefir on an empty stomach in the morning and 1/2 cup before sleeping. This will also control your appetite for food and curb sugar cravings.
