Fab women and their skincare secret

MANILA, Philippines?Facial Care Centre, the place ?where everyone comes out beautiful,? reveals the five images of beauty as embodied by five diverse women.

Agot Isidro Sandejas, Hindy Weber Tantoco, Angel Jacob, Claudine Trillo Webb and Donna Cruz Larrazabal? women who celebrate their age?are Facial Care Centre?s new spokespersons. They are proof that real beauty doesn?t stop after your dewy 20s.

Sandejas and Webb are a study in contrasts. The former spends six times a week working out in the gym; the latter says going to the gym only dampens her mood. One?s a pesco-vegetarian, the other eats anything and everything. Sandejas loves putting on makeup, the other prefers to go ?nude.?

But no matter their differences, the two women agree that a noninvasive, nonsurgical skincare regimen is the only way to age gracefully.

?Staying beautiful shouldn?t hurt. [I?d much rather diligently] apply creams and all that on my face than go under the knife. [It?s important to me] that when I look in the mirror I still see me, not a different person,? the 42-year-old Sandejas said.

Webb agrees. A ?facial virgin,? Webb never really bothered about skincare until she was in her 20s, and that only meant putting on moisturizer and sunblock. At 30, she had her first ever facial at Facial Care Centre.

?I loved the experience. I was so relaxed for an hour that now I?m a convert,? Webb said.

Fashion designer Tantoco, a self-confessed facial addict who?s tried every imaginable facial-care service around the globe, is also a stickler for everything and anything organic.

When she learned that Facial Care Centre uses all-natural ingredients, she gave it a try. And what followed surprised her.

?The staff here really know what they?re doing; they don?t shove products at you just so they can make a sale. This is the most thorough facial experience I?ve had. Everything is personalized, tailored specifically to what my skin needs,? Tantoco said.

For TV personality Jacob, nothing could be more exciting than turning 40 and looking as fab as ever. Her secret? Power naps between shoots, getting eight hours of sleep when possible, regular exercise and massage, plus a skincare regimen that includes cleansing, exfoliating, toning, moisturizing?and a trip to Facial Care Centre at least twice a month.

?I?ve tried so many products that did work for my friends but not for me. Your skincare concerns can be addressed by a professional, so ask away; do your own research, too. Get a balanced lifestyle. A positive and happy attitude will show on your skin. Love, take good care of your skin, and you?ll never lose that glow,? Jacob said.

A persistent cystic acne has haunted the former teen pop star Larrazabal most of her life. Even worse, the acne often left behind a nasty blemish even after it healed. But after just one treatment called Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), her skin problem was history, said Larrazabal.

?[After a month of] regularly visiting Facial Care Centre, I?ve not had a single pimple again. Not one! My pores [are no longer as visible] like before. [My skin] looks finer and smoother, like I have on powder,? she said.
