Who else was there? There was this wannabe gatecrasher, who practically begged the doorman to let him in because of the free drinks. He was refused entry, oops. But the funniest remark was from this gorgeous model who told moi in a slurred manner, ?I know I?m so drunk, Maurice, and I?m feeling so sophisticated and can?t even pronounce it. Ha! Ha!? I told the waitress, ?Black coffee for her, honey.?

Three days later, she saw a girl?s number in my cell phone which I forgot to bring to the office. You know what she did, Maurice?? ?No,? I answered. ?She got one of my expensive watches and smashed it with a hammer.? ?Oh, wow!? I answered. Moral of the story is you guys should keep your liaison number in the cell phone and leave it in the office, (di bala?).

Cosmo Manille?s leading philanthropist and patroness of the arts Imelda Cojuangco is lead organizer of the ?Beloved Encore!? concert on Oct. 17.

It is a fundraising dinner to benefit the Gift of Life Foundation and Philippines Heart Center.

Behind the event are other leading philanthropists, such as PLDT chairman Manny Pangilinan, and ?Beloved? project management committee members Marietta Santos, Josine Elizalde and Deeda Garcia Versoza.
