SHARON Fletcher Azanza describes her design style as modern eclectic. She is spending her first Christmas in her new home designed by Joey Yupangco.

Sharon combined new and old pieces with family heirloom to decorate her new home.

She gives a twist to the Christmas décor ideas she shares here. The designs need not be in a modern home; they complement any home.

What Sharon aims to show is that you, too, can be innovative when decorating your home for the holidays.

Many of her Christmas décor have been accumulated through the years, combined with new buys and Divisoria finds.

HEIRLOOM

AT THE LANAI, Sharon serves fresh pineapple juice and tea sandwiches. The water pitcher etched with the letter F has been handed down from generations of Fletchers.

WHITE POINSETTIAS

THE LANAI is simple and relaxing. The centerpiece is a simple grouping of white poinsettias, chestnuts and gold pinecones.

COMBINE WITH BLUE

THE MOST interesting element on Sharon?s table is her sterling silver cutlery. This was a wedding gift from Sharon?s late mother. What makes this silver set even more special was that Sharon?s mom asked different family members to get her serving pieces in the same pattern. On her wedding day, Sharon had the complete set and uses it for entertaining.

TEA LIGHTS

SHARON simply put tea lights underneath these silver Christmas cones.

SILVER AND BLUE

AS YOU enter, the Christmas tree is the focal point. Silver is predominant color with large silver Christmas balls and large elongated silver pinecones and pine needles. Big royal blue Christmas balls make a great accent. A mechanical reindeer is beside it.

DIVISORIA FINDS

FOR CENTERPIECE, Sharon uses gold candles and pinecones from Divisoria. Leaf plates in gold used as bread and butter plates are from Rustan?s.

GREAT FINDS

PLATES and glasses were some of Sharon?s great finds from close-out sales at Lane Crawford, HK.
