FASHION BUZZ
Lanvin eyewear arrives in Manila

Philippine Daily Inquirer

Filed Under: Fashion, Lifestyle & Leisure

LANVIN has survived the times using a fool-proof formula?a strong brand image backed by years of innovation and fashion-forward vision.

The fashion house, considered the oldest ?Maison de Couture,? was relaunched in 2001 with fashion director and genius Alber Elbaz at the helm.

In 2006, the brand also acquired the services of another design innovator, Lucas Ossendrivjer, to focus on its growing men?s line.

The two designers are undoubtedly the reason behind the recent resurgence of the Lanvin brand worldwide.

Lanvin?s image has always been about a sleek modernity that is subtle and not vulgar. Lanvin eyewear has the same aesthetics and a range of sunglasses and optical frames designed by the two geniuses behind the fashion collections. Elbaz perfects a bolder and elegant look with his women?s collection and Ossendrivjer continues to infuse a trendy yet sleek style into his men?s eyewear.

And for all interested couture fans, these exquisite pieces will be available by mid-month in the following shops: Perez Optical (Libis, Galleria, Alabang Town Center, Glorietta, Ipod North Edsa, Megamall), Vinias Optical Shangri-La, Sarabia Optical (Mall of Asia, Rockwell) and Sure Vision.
