WORD OF MOUTH
Healthy water is a good investment

IN THE late ?70s, I met a Frenchman who was doing a project study on the bottled-water business in the Philippines. I scoffed at the idea then. It?s a good thing I kept those thoughts to myself, because it?s already a lucrative business nowadays. But, is water really that important to our health?

I?m a sucker for all things that I think will boost my health. I will try almost anything. When I learned that the human body is 75 percent water, I began my search for the healthiest type of water around. But, is there really such a thing as ?healthy? water?

Imbalance

Yes, there is. When our body experiences symptoms, they?re manifestations of an imbalance in our body.

The food we consume gets digested and serves various functions: Growth, energy, tissue development, etc. Some of it turns into waste that should be flushed out of our body. The health of a person is dependent on the efficiency of how fast his body flushes it out. If it?s not excreted, it turns into acid that then begins attacking our body organs. Then, the warning signs begin to show up, which usually manifest in the colon initially.

One day, a friend from Canada introduced me to this water system developed by the Japanese: Kangen. To your ordinary kitchen faucet, attach the machine, which does four things: It purifies the water. It reduces the cluster of molecules from its normal number of 16 down to about five molecules. Then, it adds an antioxidant to the water. And, finally, it converts ordinary tap water into alkaline water. Another notable feature is that cancer cells grow in an acidic environment, not in an alkaline medium. Interestingly, majority of health energy drinks are also acidic.

Let?s start with the first: The machine purifies the water by getting rid of amoeba, chlorine or any kind of bacteria. At this point, this oxygenated water is clean enough to drink. Then, it goes through electrolysis. It removes the acid, which comes out in one tube, while another tube produces alkaline, which we can drink.

Rehydration

Reducing the cluster of molecules from 16 to five results in quick absorption and immediate rehydration. Alkaline water looks for acid and calcium deposits and neutralize them. For an antioxidant to be effective, it has to have at least negative 300 oxidation reduction potential (ORP). Kangen produces an ORP of about -400.

How important is it to drink alkaline water? Most of our body is acidic. The moment alkaline water touches the acid in our body, filth gets neutralized?and flushed out through pee or poo.

Last Tuesday, a friend was only on his fourth glass of Kangen water when a joint in his foot started aching?the flushing process was already starting! It has drastically improved problems like diabetes, high blood pressure, acid reflux, gout and hypercholesterolemia. Personally, my cholesterol level dropped significantly, which shocked my doctor.

If you have any of the aforementioned symptoms, drink an ounce for every pound of weight per day. Balance usually happens within three to six months and, in some cases, the results were immediate!

The Kangen machine is made by a Japanese company called Enagic, which, in Japanese, means ?return to origin.? It has a filter that needs to be changed every 3,000 gallons. Price isn?t cheap, but it works. Why not spend your precious money on your health?
