Inside Out
Potassium helps prevent itchy skin, pains

IN THE FIELD of natural medicine, sodium, potassium and calcium play a major role.

The operative word is organic, meaning sodium comes from natural sources such as celery, okra, carrot juice, beats, whey (especially from goat milk, which is closest in natural composition to mother?s milk).

Lack of sodium will cause indigestion, mucus buildup, osteoporosis, disruption of sleep pattern (awake at night, asleep during the day), blood diseases, and cancer. The ancient Chinese believed that all diseases were related to a sluggish circulatory system. Central to their message is that everything begins in the blood. If you keep your blood healthy, you can be assured of a long energetic life.

The human body contains natural sodium. However, sodium chloride or regular table salt robs the body of its normal supply. And it is believed that it hardens the arteries. For years and countless generations, table salt has been used as a major ingredient in cooking. But have we ever stopped to consider its health implications? Use natural sea salt instead.

Organic potassium

Lack of potassium causes constipation, itchy skin, nausea, poor sleep, restlessness, listlessness, weakness, headaches, lower back pain, a desire to be alone. Natural sources: ampalaya (better vegetables or herbs) potato skin, carrot juice, parsley, root crops like jam or sweet potato, avocado, papaya, peaches, pears, dried figs and bananas. For peak performance, include potassium in your daily regimen.

Organic calcium

The human body has natural calcium reserves in the skeletal system. Lack of calcium causes fatigue, too much perspiration, leg cramps, abscesses and emotional lows.

Natural sources: Cauliflower, kelps, seeds (pumpkin, sesame, sunflower, etc), all kinds of vegetables, lemon, celery, whey, dairy products (Note: Dairy is high in phosphorus. This means that in order to assimilate dairy, the body needs to increase its calcium and sodium reserves.)

Tips

Mix one teaspoon of whey, three teaspoons lecithin in a cup of warm water to remove acidity from stomach. Eat celery, two to three stalks daily, for sodium balance.

Mineral soup

In a stainless steel or glass pot, add three medium-sized potatoes (with skin), two to three stalks of celery, a handful of greens?mustard, pechay, kale, lettuce, cabbage. Add kelp or seaweed, sea salt and herbs (basil, thyme, cayenne, rosemary, etc). Boil for three minutes, allow to cool. Keep in fridge. Drink two to three cups daily.

Affirm: ?I am a life saver.?

Love and light!
