THE YELLOW ribbons on posts all over Metro Manila these days are a reminder of Edsa I. The lyrics to the popular song are being sung again, but this time, in healing masses for Tita Cory.

The most photographed personalities then were Tita Cory, who led the rallies that kept getting bigger, Kris and Doña Aurora, Ninoy?s mother.

Last Tuesday, I asked Deedee Siytangco if I could visit Tita Cory. She replied: ?Remember her as she was at Edsa?courageous and gentle. You don?t want to see Tita Cory in her condition now.? My eyes welled up with tears.
