Can one close his third eye?

?I DID not expect I'd be writing to you about a recent event that happened to my family,? writes Joy Gamil of Sampaloc, Manila.

?We went to my mother?s house in Pampanga for my grandfather?s 84th birthday celebration. It is located beside my grandparents? house.?

My yaya of seven years, who I always bring along whenever I visit my mother, experienced something unexplainable last June 26, my grandfather?s birthday. Her hands began trembling and she had chills, although she didn?t have a fever.

We thought she was ?nausog,? so we asked my grandfather?s second wife [my grandmother died five years ago], who knows how to do ?tawas,? to help us.

After the ritual, my yaya didn?t stop shaking and became uncontrollable. We then summoned one of my aunts, who started praying over her.

?Then my step-grandmother came to do tawas a second time. By this time, my yaya began to act like she was possessed. Then she told my step-grandmother to get out of the house. After a few minutes of praying over by my aunt, my yaya calmed down and asked ?What happened???

My questions are as follows:

1. ?This is the first time something like this happened. Why only now?

2. ?Why did this happen only to my yaya when there were other persons in the house?

3. ?Could it be my grandmother?s spirit who wanted to tell my step-grandmother she didn?t like her and she wanted her out of the family?

4. ?If it is the spirit of my grandma, does it mean she is still with us and that she wants to convey something?

5. ?What can we do so it will not happen again??

Possessed

I think you are correct in your theory that your yaya (or nanny) was possessed by an entity or spirit. But what type of spirit possessed your yaya should have been determined by the tawas ritual which is a traditional type of diagnosis.

Although your mother?s house was built 10 years ago, this was the first time it happened probably because this was the first time a sensitive person with a mediumistic tendency or was an open channel came to that house.

Although it is possible it was indeed your grandma?s spirit, it is also possible it was the work of some mischievous or negative elementals or nature spirits such as ?dwarves? or ?engkantos.?

If this was your grandmother?s spirit, then yes, it means she is earthbound and is still around. Prayers would help, and if she was a religious person, perhaps offering a Mass for the eternal repose of her soul might help.

You asked if this thing can happen again to your yaya. The answer is yes, because she is an open channel or medium.

To prevent this from happening again, your yaya must have some protection, and her third-eye chakra should be controlled by her.

You can?t close a third eye or clairvoyant vision like a door or faucet.

Consult a reliable espiritista or clairvoyant healer to help you.
