500 g spaghettini (or any pasta of your choice)
1/8 c olive oil
1 head of broccoli, trimmed and cut into small florets
3 cloves garlic, minced
? tsp red chili flakes (optional)
? c grated Parmesan cheese (or cheddar)
1/8 c pine nuts, toasted
Juice of 1 lemon
Salt and pepper to taste
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instruction or until al dente. Heat olive oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat and sauté broccoli florets. Add garlic and chili flakes. Add the cooked pasta to the broccoli and combine well. Add the cheese and pine nuts. Serves 4.
