There were three decadent desserts and a birthday cake.

But the real star of the celebration was Ruby?s 11-year-old granddaughter Kayla Laygo.

?After 38 years of having three men in my life, my late husband Butch and my two sons, I finally got my request from God. Now I can buy pink dresses, ribbons and other feminine accessories. She is so dear to me,? said a beaming Ruby while sitting beside her mom, Norma, who can pass for her sister.
