Walk for inner healing

JOEMAR OBEJAS? Walking meditation commences in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, this Saturday. This special ?trip? then takes him and his group to Vigan, Sagada, Baguio, Manila, Sorsogon, Iloilo, Cebu and ends at Bahay Kalipay in Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

Endorsement

It aims to spread spiritual awareness through inner healing and will also help raise funds for Kids for Peace Foundation and the children of Bukidnon?s Daraghuyan tribe. Daraghuyan is one of the peaks which the tribe considers sacred. Its people are seeking endorsement from the city government of Malaybalay for at least 4,700 hectares of Daraghuyan?s ancestral domain within the Mt. Kitanglad Range and Natural Park.

As Obejas leads the inner-dance healing, others are invited to join at any point of the journey, which requires silence from participants. (If you want to schedule a healing session in your town, call +63 929 117-0748, or e-mail arnis0701@yahoo.com )

Joemar was physically abused as a child. After he ran away, he became a street kid. After a botched suicide attempt, he realized that God had bigger plans for him. So, he turned his life around and began exploring his spirituality.

Joemar?s walk will assist Bane Agbun?s Cotabato-based Kids For Peace Foundation, which promotes peace and provides debriefing and counseling for children affected by the war in Mindanao, as well as Easter Luna Canoy?s Malaybalay-based Kitanlad Integrated Network of NGOs, whose advocacy is the protection of ancestral lands.
