New logo, endorsers and TV ad mark beauty salon’s relaunch

MANILA, Philippines--You don't have to spend an entire week?s worth of meals on treatments to make sure you get good service. Glam up and get pretty with safe and affordable treatments both beauty newbies and long-time salon-goers would love.

Flawless chain of beauty salons was recently relaunched as a personal care house. You won?t miss the pink Flawless billboards along main roads featuring celebrities Judy Ann Santos, Lorna Tolentino, Yasmine Kurdi, Mark Herras and Richard Gutierrez.

The Flawless label has been there for eight years, and now has 28 salons mostly located in popular malls (www.flawless.ph for list of branches). Soon-to-open branches outside Metro Manila are in CSI Mall in Dagupan, and Marquee Mall in Angeles, Pampanga.

?Flawless gets an upgrade with new logo, endorsers and TV ad,? says owner and CEO Rubby Sy. ?We go by the mind-set ?Less is More? and we want to be the salon everyone can go to, not just the masa, but all people who want dependable and reasonably priced services.

To give a fresh take on the brand, Flawless uses the ?airline concept? with treatment rooms classified into Diamond (first class, private room); Ruby (business class, semi-private rooms); and Emerald (economy class). All rooms sport the pink-gold-white theme, are spacious and give enough privacy to clients.

?All our products and services have been researched and developed by a team of qualified dermatological doctors,? assures Sy.

Bestsellers

The bestseller among their beauty menu is still the facial, says Sy.

?It?s the most basic services men and women avail of. We have a variety of treatments that cater to individual skin needs priced at P350 and up.?

Try out the Classic Facial (basic cleanse-tone-moisturize); Age-Defying Facial (for mature skin); Oil-Control Facials (for overactive skin); Acne-Control Facial (treatment of pimples and comedones) and Flawless White Facial (for sun spots and acne scars).

Sy says a good chunk of their clients are men who usually go during lunchtime. They avail of the Real Gentlemen?s Facial, a customized skincare treatment meant to exfoliate, refine pores and rehydrate.

Filipino women are particularly concerned with fairer underarms, says Sy. ?We have an underarm whitening treatment so effective that you can see results upon first session. You can also enroll in a program to guarantee best results. And we have the Flawless deodorant to complement everything.?

Other services include Back Cleaning, Bodyscrub, and waxing for the underarms, legs and bikini line.

Cosmetic clinic

Flawless isn?t just a facial salon, Sy says. It has legitimate medical cosmetic services also offered in high-end centers and hospitals, at much lesser prices.

PhotoGen is a multi-therapy treatment from Europe that takes care of skin pigmentation, acne scars, wrinkles and cellulite. It tightens skin and combats visible signs of aging.

Refine Laser, meanwhile, is a noninvasive skin rejuvenation process. A more advanced treatment is the Derma Roller or skin needling, for deep acne scars, wrinkles and stretch marks.

The range of Ultra Treatments uses radio frequency and laser energy to erase wrinkles and stubborn acne. Skin Resurfacing or chemical peels are available for face, neck, chest, hands, arms and legs for ?new,? smoother skin.

Specific needs

There?s the Flawless Hair Removal using Lightsheer Diode Laser System to permanently reduce unwanted hair, while Electrocautery removes facial and body warts.

Mesotherapy is spot-reduction treatment for fatty problem areas. For varicose veins, Sclerotherapy eases out pain and soreness.

Injectables have been a big thing in beauty. While many still think it?s too risky, Sy says Flawless treatments are generally safe. For the skin, you can have shots of vitamin C, glutathione for whitening, placenta for rejuvenation, Botox and dermal fillers for a plump and fresh face.

Exclusive products

Aside from the treatments, Flawless also has over-the-counter products that can easily be part of your kikay routine. In-house bestsellers include the whitening soap, toner and sunblock cream.

Another Flawless favorite is the Revitalash eyelash conditioner. It comes in a mascara-like container and it applies on colorless like liquid eyeliner.
Apply it once daily before bedtime for longer, thicker, fuller lashes. Results may be seen in 60 days.

Other products are the IskinTransformation Program that comes in Sun Solution, Anti-Oxidant, Age Intervention and Eye Recovery Therapy lines; and Cool Clenz topical system for young, oily, acne-prone skin.
