Inner Awareness
Are events on earth influenced by heavenly bodies?

EVERY TIME NATURAL CALAMITIES of great magnitude are experienced by Filipinos, geologists and seismologists usually look only on Earth for explanations on what?s happening.

Almost nobody looks at the heavens for what?s happening on earth. What happens in the various planets and other heavenly bodies such as the sun, moon, and stars have profound effects on human life and every living creature on Earth.

There are unquestionable scientific evidences for this. For example, Dr. A.K. Podshibyakain, a Russian physician, discovered a remarkable connection between physical events on the sun and road accidents in the then Soviet Union. His studies published in 1967 showed that the day after a solar flare, that is, a magnetic storm on the surface of the sun, there was a marked increase in road accidents, as much as four times the daily average. The same correlation was observed in Germany. Solar flares are known to produce a tremendous amount of ultraviolet radiation which can cause changes on the earth?s atmosphere.

No less surprising was the discovery of the behavior of oysters. When they are in their natural habitat, oysters open and close their shells according to the movement of the tides. At high tide, they open their shells to feed, and at low tide, they close them to prevent dryness. No one ever thought the oysters was responding directly to the moon and sun.

Then Dr. Frank Brown, professor of Biology at North Western University, transferred some oysters from the Atlantic seaboard of the United States to his laboratory in Evanston, Illinois, a thousand miles from the sea.

Within two weeks, the oysters have lost the patterns of opening and closing their shells that they had displayed in their natural habitat in Atlantic, and were following the rhythm of what the tides would have been in Evanston had that town been on the sea. If such is the influence of the heavenly bodies on life on Earth during ordinary circumstances, can we not expect greater effects when a certain extraordinary event occurs in the heaven, such as the expected alignment of four major planets and other heavenly bodies which will take place on Dec. 21, 2012, according to the Mayan Calendar?

It is not therefore surprising to expect vast changes on earth as well as calamities and upheavals as this date approaches.
