83.1: Percentage of active Filipino Internet users aged 16 to 64 who belong to a social network (i.e. Facebook, Friendster, etc.), according to the same study by Universal McCann. The global average is 57.5 percent.

1 billion+: Average number of text messages sent in RP in 2007.

13.2 million: Number of unique visits from RP registered by the social networking site Friendster in March 2008 alone.

2.2 million: Number of registered Filipino users on Multiply, one of the world?s largest multimedia sharing websites. In June 2008, Multiply executives estimated that of two million photos uploaded to the site every day, about one million belong to Filipinos.
