500,000+: Difference in population between males and females in RP. There are more males than females as of the 2000 census.

10.9: Percentage decrease in number of registered marriages between 2004 and 2005. There were only 518,595 marriages reported in 2005, down from 582,281 in 2004.

Around 83,000: Total number of registered marriages in Metro Manila, the highest among the regions. (2005)

$162 million: Joint earnings of singers Jay-Z and Beyonce, Hollywood?s top earning couple, according to Forbes magazine. The sum was accumulated between June 1, 2007 and June 1, 2008.
