4,000: Weight in kilograms of the giant pastillas created in Malolos, Bulacan, in September 2008. Measuring 200 meters in length and five inches in diameter, it was the province?s entry to the Guinness Book of World Records. It took 12,800 liters of fresh carabao milk and 1,600 kilograms of white sugar to make the creamy candy.

25+: Number of years that the Jam Taho in San Pedro town, Lagunae provin, has been in business. It is said to be the longest surviving taho (soybean curd) business in the town.

45: Estimated number of minutes needed to bake or steam a leche flan.

10: Estimated number of ingredients in the local iced dessert halo-halo. It is basically a mixture of sweet beans, bananas, macapuno, langka, pinipig, ube, leche flan, crushed ice and milk, that is sometimes topped with ice cream.

1970: Year that Bulacan Sweets was born. The store offers pastillas de leche, ube, yema and candied fruits. They also sell delicacies from other provinces such as pili nuts from Bicol, bocayo (coconut candy) from Pangasinan, broas from Quezon, and honey from Palawan.

P430: Price of Red Ribbon?s ?no sugar added? Belgian Chocolate Bliss cake (Junior size, round), the first of its two ?no sugar added? cakes. The other one is Mango Passion.
