MANILA, Philippines—Popular urban apparel brand FUBU is calling on all male teen dance groups in the country to join the FUBU Hip-Hop Dance Challenge and get a crack at the grand prize bounty of P300,000 in cash and gift certificates, aside from becoming the brand’s official endorsers. This nationwide streetdance competition was recently launched at one of Manila’s happening hotspots, Prince of Jaipur at The Fort.

The event also showcased FUBU’s latest casual wear collection for males, sporting a diverse mix of oversized tees, baggy jeans and sorts jerseys. The brand’s trademark accessories also accentuated the new collection. During the course of the event, internationally acclaimed hip-hop dance group Xtatic showed off their cool routines as a sample of what FUBU expects from the teams that will compete in the Hip-Hop Dance Challenge.

Any male teen dance group, with a minimum of six or a maximum of 12 members may join. Qualifying rounds will be conducted in Baguio, Cebu, Iloilo, San Fernando (Pampanga) and Metro Manila, with the finals set in December in Manila. Contest rules and other information are available at www.fubuphilippines.multiply.com. Application forms may be obtained from this website or from any of the FUBU boutique stores.
