Stretch in the city

On September 19, yoga shows that it is a force to be reckoned with at the Global Mala Project 2009*. Simultaneous events are scheduled in cities around the world to unite yoga practitioners for various causes. Locally, the venue is at Fully Booked, Bonifacio High Street, Taguig and is for the benefit of Trees for the Future and Tubbataha Foundation. A highlight of the event includes a Yoga Trance Dance led by Teresa Herrera. Pounding the pavement

Philippine Ballet Theatre’s 23rd season offering, La Fille Mal Gardee, tells a lighthearted story using dancers that are as equally light on their feet. Watch as the main characters fight for true love and battle comical situations. Will it end with the proverbial happily ever after?
