NEW VIDS ON THE BLOCK
Look at these ladies

MANILA, Philippines—Looking good is very important when you’re a singer. But whether you define looking good as being blonde and sexy or appearing unique and flamboyant, one thing is for sure – being your own special self will always make you more attractive to people. Here’s a bunch of striking female vocalists for your audio-visual pleasure. Check out their latest music vids via YouTube and discover their own brand of beauty and music sensibility.

“Just Dance” by Lady Gaga

Search for: Lady Gaga, Colby O’Donis, Akon - Just Dance (official clip)

With such a fabulous name, there is so much to expect from this newcomer. Sounding a bit like Fergie and Gwen Stefani in certain parts of the song, Lady Gaga looks like Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera and Jem and the Holograms combined. In the vid, she sports blonde hair, wears edgy clothes and puts on electric blue lightning face make-up. Nothing much happens in the vid. Lady Gaga just goes berserk singing and dancing in a party filled with fashion-forward teens, drinking and some mirror balls. The most interesting bit? How she covers her eyes with her hands, which she does around 20 times.

“Sandcastle Disco” by Solange

Search for: Solange- Sandcastle Disco [OFFICIAL Full Length Music Video]

She hates it when people refer to her as Beyonce’s little sis, but since that is how she actually is known as, Beyonce’s little sis is still trying to make a name for herself with her latest single called “Sandcastle Disco.” With that happy-fun ’70s vibe (plus the fact that it doesn’t sound like a Beyonce track), the song seems to be the perfect representation of the singer, but the video may not be Solange’s best. The animated sun, clouds and bricks suddenly popping up are cute but her flashy clothes are just too distracting! In the giant musical instruments scenes, she wears this huge ruffled yellow Copacabana dress that reminds you of Big Bird. In the ocean scene, she has this flowing dress that is colored like a tahong shell. And in the last scene, she is garbed in this monstrous black and yellow feather dress that is more ludicrous than diva.

“Official Girl” by Cassie

Search for: WORLD PREMIERE Cassie’s “Official Girl” (OFFICIAL VIDEO)
There’s no denying that Cassie’s gorgeous. In fact, she’s so gorgeous that people see her as nothing but a pretty face and a hot bod. Thing is, she can sing and dance too—not like Mariah Carey or Janet Jackson but she’s definitely not talentless. Her latest offering proves how both pretty and talented she is. Apart from the abundance of dance routines and more impressive ad libs, Cassie also flaunts her sexy body with fierce, figure-hugging garb.

“Overdosin” by Heidi Montag

URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVC6T5-Ax9I
Search for: Overdosin’ - Heidi Montag

Known by reality TV fans as the villainess in MTV’s The Hills, Heidi suddenly became a part of the music industry, churning out one potential hit after another via leaks and iTunes releases. Her latest is an extremely catchy, feel-good pop song, which is very easy to like. The accompanying video, which is inspired by Olivia Newton-John’s video for “Let’s Get Physical” (think neon, spandex and the gym), is pretty entertaining as well. Enjoy humming along to the song while giggling at the hilarious aerobic moves. “I can’t get enough of you,” sings Heidi in the song—a line that exactly captures how I guiltily feel about her.
