What inspired you to take fashion design?

Fashion TV. I think there was something I might have seen in the channel that made me decide to take up fashion.

Who are your fashion icons, and where do you take inspiration?

I admire a lot of designers. To name a few, I like Chanel, YSL, Gucci, Balenciaga, Dior and Elie Saab. They just really wow me.

What kind of clothes do you want to make?

I want to be very versatile and have a wide range when designing clothes.

What is your trademark?

I make sure my work is always clean.

What inspired you to take fashion design?

Paper dolls! I used to draw clothes on paper and cut them for my paper dolls.

Who are your fashion icons, and where do you take inspiration?

Monique Lhuillier, John Galliano and Elie Saab. I take inspiration from places I’ve been, art pieces, and movies.

What kind of clothes do you want to make?

Cocktail dresses, gowns and RTW.

What is your trademark?

My clothes are textured and have volume.

What inspired you to take fashion design?

I’ve always wanted to take fashion design. I love dressing up myself and other people as well—it makes me feel good!

Who are your fashion icons, and where do you take inspiration?

I love Michael Kors and Carolina Herrera. I love how they design, simple and very classy.

What kind of clothes do you want to make?

I love making dresses.

What is your trademark?

I go for classic cuts and simple yet sophisticated silhouettes.

What inspired you to take fashion design?

I got my inspiration from my mother’s designer bags and clothes. I wanted to be like one of those designers and eventually create my own things.

Who are your fashion icons, and where do you take inspiration?

I always look up to the creations of Proenza Schouler and Giambatista Vali. I get inspiration from anything and everything under the sun.

What kind of clothes do you want to make?

I’d prefer to make RTW clothes.

My clothes are simple yet edgy.

What inspired you to take fashion design?

My late great-Aunt Ellen, Barbie and paper dolls.

Princess Diana, Audrey Hepburn, Monique Lhuillier, Vera Wang and Roberto Cavalli. I take inspiration from people I meet, places I visit, and of course, research!

Barbie dolls and my love for art.

What inspired you to take fashion design?

Inspiration would be for a temporary context. I took up this path to reconcile my passions, namely music, film, theater, painting, etc. But in the long run, I took up fashion design because I believe that it is me. It is what I was born for.

Who are your fashion icons, and where do you take inspiration?

Fashion icons, for me, are those people who love life. Mostly though, I find Renaissance workers very interesting—happy in their gloomy setting. Their well-tailored yet striking clothing gives me their sense of being. I just browse through old photo books and look into their eyes.

What kind of clothes do you want to make?

Clothes that define a sense of identity to the wearer, which don’t portray their physical attributes but define their inner being.

What is your trademark?

Most of the time, I use a neutral color palette to emphasize texture and solid colors to define the feeling of the garment.
