HEAR no words, just music, at the 2nd International Silent Film Festival, on Aug. 26-27 and Sept. 2-4 at the Shangri-La Plaza Cineplex. The festival features silent films (of course) from six countries?Spain, Japan, France, Czechoslovakia, Germany and Italy. In five special screenings in the Shang Cineplex Cinema 1, the films will be accompanied by a live music score, with artists such as Caliph8, Malek Lopez, Louie Talan, Wendel Garcia, and Kakoy Legazpi lending their skills. Cinema 1 screenings start at 7 p.m. with admission of P75. Additional screenings of the films with original score are at Listening in Style on Aug. 29, Sept. 5 to 8.
